The Aimury Siva Temple is renowned for its impressive architecture and the monumental sculpture of Nandi, the sacred bull, which is considered the largest in Kerala. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, one of the principal deities in Hinduism. The Nandi is so aptly named Brihath Nandi.
The highlight of the Aimury Siva Temple is undoubtedly the colossal sculpture of Nandi, measuring approximately 36 feet in height and 45.23 feet in width. Constructed out of concrete, this Brihath Nandi was installed in 2011 with the blessings of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam.
